8T AGRICULTURAL DUMP TRAILER DESIGN
Specification
Commissioned by an agricultural trailer manufacturer, they required a design for a dump trailer with the capacity of 8t. To be designed from the ground up to forfill the requirement proposed, the trailer was to fit in with the clients' styling of other products whilst having a classic dump trailer 'high tip'.
After roughly four weeks of work, the bespoke trailer had the same profiled body as the clients other trailers.

A bespoke chassis design, accommodated a solid, unsprung axel and drawbar with the body mounting in the required position for a high tip and raised tip clearance.
A hydraulic cylinder was specified with the help of Distag QCS. The body was designed out of S375J due to the numerous bends and the manufacturing capability of the client.
